For sale is a 20th century original butchers block on pine stand, the block is made with hard end grain wood as with all butchers blocks has been made to last and be used on a daily basis. The block sits on a pine stand with under shelf and makes it the perfect height for chopping and would make a superb kitchen island. It has has little overall wear to the block with one side flat with some marks as shown and the other side is clean of marks but has had slightly more wear down to the wood, both have plenty of life left and have little use compared with most blocks this age which dates to the first half of the 20th century. The stand and block are in good solid condition with age related wear which could be sanded back to new if the buyer wishes. The block has some old worm holes on one edge and some metal components have slight surface rust but nothing that detract from the overall look. A true statement piece that would be a stunning addition to any kitchen.
