A fine quality burr walnut writing desk dating to the late Victorian period. The desk stands on tapered inlaid fiqured walnut legs with two drawers which have the original brass handles. The top has a rich red leather top surrounded by a inlaid and burr walnut border with ebonised edging. In very good order with some age related wear, fading and some minor repairs but overall a truly special piece.
